Oliver Knott Nature Soil

Hi, I have been using Oliver Knott's Nature Soil in a couple of my tanks. I was trying to find out if anyone else uses this and what their opinions of it are?

I was mostly looking to find out if it has a lifespan / whether it needs to be replaced after a set amount of time as one of my tanks has been set up for quite a while now?
