Opinions needed

Has anyone any opinions on the marisys 240 skimmer it was supplied with my new aquarium and as a newbie to this fantastic hobby wouldn't know any different !

Yes i have on in my tank, it seems to work ok i havevremoved half of the bioballs and added seachem matrix and waiting to see if this helps remove the high nitrate levels i keep getting(20ppm) but it keeps the water nice and clean and is a fairly quiet system.i would like to try other media in the baskets and will do when i finish design and making a hang on back refugeium that is a work in progress at the moment.there are pics of my here

Great pics nice tank yes I will try the sachem matrix or similar as my nitrates are very high 60 !! Mine ain't so quiet though tends to humming quite loudly thanks for the info happy fish keeping 

I have found if the water levels are too high or too low it gets noisy, also i have cut 3/8" from the water inlet hight adjuster in the overflow box so i could get some extra adjustment
