Orange spots on my sand

I have a new aquarium and it's the first time I have used sand but I keep getting these Orange patches anyone know what they are from?

Probably just discoloration of the sand. You could remove that little chunk of discolored sand to be on the safe side. I'm not 100% of what it is, so I don't want to give you a false sense of security, but it doesn't look like anything bad. I would just remove the orange bits and not worry too much about it.

I have that's what gets me. I scoop them out and it shows back up. Aside from that all my water tests are fine it's just weird to see

That's strange. Do you have fish in there? If so, how are they? Seem normal? I probably would just leave it, if everything else seems fine.

The orange is just diatoms. It's common in new tanks and will go away with time, it's not harmful.
