Here is my Oscar it seems to have some deformity with its tail fin and pectoral fins. I don't believe this is fin rot because I lost my arowana to fin rot and this to me isn't fin rot. Is it lacking nutrition? I feed it pellets every other day and do weekly water changes.

Are the tip of the fins white in color? Are the cloudy? Are there any other fish in the tank?

The water isn't cloudy. Yes there are other fish but this is the most dominant and the rest are scared of it. The tips or edges of the tail fin are white but I'm guessing the white is more of a natural color because aren't the adult oscars fins white at the edge? Even the pectoral fins aren't proportioned but there isn't any white edging.

One of the more noticeable things in fin rot are obviously rotting fins and white tips. Your Oscar has both these but it seems as though its not as severe. Do more frequent water changes for a week or two and see if there are any changes.

if handled soon enough and the right way... fins do grow back :)
