I've elevated the temperature over the course of a week from 77dgz to 84 dgz. He is actually more active in the warmer water, surprisingly. I know you can treat with salt, aquarium salt, but...

Can I use saltwater salt mix? I have a small SW tank and about 20g worth of salt mix. Or does it have to be the specific "Aquarium salt"

No, Sea salt is totally different from Aquarium salt, I would advise against it. You can use rock salt if you have some lying around, or just wait until you can get some good aquarium salt.

86 degrees is the best temperature with salt, try it, and if your oscars don't respond well, lower the temperance. I treat my fish with 86 degree water with salt over a 2-3 week regimen of daily 50% vacuum with a barebottom tank. Rid-ich+ is also a great way to treat ich.
