im getting a 55 gallon would theses fish be over stocked?
8 Bloodfin tetras
8 Rummynoses
8 Neon Tetras
8 Pristella Tetras
4 Peppered Cory Cats
1 Clown Pleco
1 Albino Bristlenose Pleco
1 dwarf gourami
would that be over stocked?

well following the 1" per gallon rule then yes, but if you keep up on the maintenance and pwc's i dont think that would be too bad

IMO i would take out the bloodfin tetras

great combination though!! :D

Hmmm. I don't think it would be too much, with regular maintenance and good filtration. Look at my signature, I am not that far off what you want, excluding the gourami and the clown pleco. I really don't know how big those two get, but I bet its doable. Stock slowly and watch for problems.

I don't think thats overstocked at all. Its about 30 fish, at maybe 2" per fish (some less some more) thats about 60" of fish in a 55 gallon. I think you would be perfectly ok as long as you do regular maintenance. HTH and GL

Just make sure you get driftwood for the pleco(s) (I know clown's need it, not sure about BN's though).
