I have a betta 5 harlequin Rasboras 2 Cory cats and 2 plays and I might get a Pleco in a 15 gallon tank. Is this overstocking?

On the assumption you mean a bristlenose pleco then your tank won't be overstocked in my opinion.

Subject to proper filtration of course :)

Common plecs are very large and produce a large amount of waste. This would be overstocking. Sorry.

What kind of Corys? I'd increase their number to at least 4, 6 would be better, they do best in groups.

Common? They get large. Unfortunately they're very small at the stores but they can grow to 1-2 feet and need a 150+ gal tank. You could do a smaller pleco, like a Bristlenose.

I'm not planning on keeping it forever, my friend is getting rid of a fish tank and that was in there soi will just be keeping it until he can get back so what about without the pleco?

Fine without the pleco.
