Painted Screen top bad or ok?

I am planning on making an aluminum frame with clear screen top for my tank and wanted to spray paint the aluminum black as it only comes in brown and white. Anyone foresee any problems with this?

On freshwater, no not at all. On marine tanks salt could cause spray paint to peel depending on quality.

Yes its a freshwater tank so I guess I don't have to worry about salt corrosion. I never would have considered that though. Thanks!
