Pakistan/yoyo loach with shrimp

I knew as with most loach, the yoyo loach eat snail. Just wonder will a yoyo hurt and eat the shrimp.
Anyone having a yoyo loach with cherry or amano shrimp in a community tank?

My 'ghost shrimp' (which turned out to be prawns) coexisted quite nicely in a tank full of loaches, including two Yo-Yo Loaches (Botia almorhae). Now one of those prawns has grown to 6"+ and has already killed and eaten one of my smaller Schistura loaches. I suspect that a Yo-Yo will get along fairly well with cherry and/or Amano shrimp.

hi there,
we've got 5 caridina japonica (amano) shrimp in our tank with 2 yoyos & other fish (see sig) theyve all been in there quite happily for over 7 months so im sure they'll be fine. the yoyos never pay any attention to the shrimps just barge them out of the way occasionally whilst rummaging around for food & the shrimps can move like lightening when they want to!!!
