I've been wanting to do a paludarium for a long time. I ran a trial with a ZooMed 18x18x36 that went really well, so I had the LFS order me a custom size pal.

24x36x37 : water depth 12" (approx 44 gal)
Drilled in the rear corners, connected to an FX4 that's routed through custom PVC pipe to my CO2 diffuser and UV sterilizer. Running an older GLA 2-stage CO2 system w/Milwaukee pH Controller.

The weather warmed up enough last week to order some plants from a really good supplier here in Michigan ( glassboxtropicals.com ). I also transplanted some stuff from the small pal and my aquariums. All of the buce in the tank came from a big 65gal scape I previously had in this space. Various species I don't know the names of anymore, mostly from petco/petsmart tissue culture cups.

I'm still learning about the tropical terrestrial plants, so I have no idea what'll work and what won't.

I'm eventually planning to stock with Jae barbs and vampire crabs.

Not the best photo but it gets the point across.
