Panda cories w/ discus?

Would any certain Cory be better than others for Discus?

Would any certain Cory be better than others for Discus?

I forget exactly what cory it is but there is one that is far better with discus than the rest. Discus need a higher temp and a certain cory is better off with them than the rest. I will chime back it when i remember

Edit: i think the steraby or something cory is the one.

You are looking for Sterba's. they can withstand the warm water Discus require. I have 5 of them and they look like a Julie catfish.Sterba's corydoras - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As said earlier, sterbai corys will probably be your best bet for a discus tank. Pandas especially like the water cooler, like in the 76 range.

Gotcha thanks. I was thinking about using them as clean up in a bare bottom tank. Possibly to cycle the tank 1st as well. Bad idea?

definitely bad idea to use them to cycle do a fishless with pure ammonia it will be much faster and doesnt harm any fish

Yep. Plus they like sand sooo much better than BB tanks
