Is there a peaceful fish that I could get that will eat baby platies?
Would getting a single angelfish, one gourami or one red tailed shark completely destroy the harmony that exists in my tank? I like my fish the way they are. I don't want to ruin it by adding a fish that will pester them all.
My Mickey mouse female, minnie, is expecting and so is one of my variatus. I don't plan on breeding them as part of this hobby. I'd rather let nature take its course then having to scoop them all out and do away with them.
I have 7 neon tetras (two are gold)
3 endlers (male)
5 hi fin variatus (1 male, 2 babies that I think are female, 2 for sure females)
3 long finned leopard danios (will get 2 or 3 more in a few weeks)
2 rummy nosed tetras
2 Mickey mouse platies
4 ghost shrimp (might get 5 more at a later date)
3 zebra nerites
I have live plants.
55 gal tank w/ Marineland emperor 400 filtration.
Thanks for your advice!
