Peacock eel in a 20gal

No a bare minimum of a 75 gallon tank preferably larger. They are also a complicated fish and a lot of dedication and care to their specific needs must be met.
 
I kept one in a 29 gallon. It was 6.5 inches long and did fine. But IMO, they would be happier in a larger tank. They are very cool, Mine was night owl though. My tank is lightly planted but has lots of hiding places.

No this isnt true. I would say that a 40 gallon would be a great home for one, and they are very easy to take care of. Just theow in some blood worms and he will be fine. Lol
