There are a few things you can try to entice the clown to host it. Some people have put up pictures of clowns hosting nems, some have put them nem and clown in a small water volume such as a large bowl big enough for the nem and clown which tries to get the clown to pay more attention to it. Another option would be to by another clown in hopes he will host instantly and the other clown will follow suit by pairing the clowns. Buying a clown that is hosting a nem in the fish store is your best bet but still not always fool proof. Tank raised clowns have never seen a nem in their life, wild caught clowns on the other hand have, and have a high success rate hosting nems in our tanks.
Hope some of that info helps maybe.

Evilbass said:I have a friend that placed the clown and nem in a in take refugium/QT kind of set up. They hosted pretty quickly, then were moved back into the tank.
Just an idea
Evilbass said:Well, thats why you have the "QT/refugium" inside the tank... no change in light, no change in anything, really!

Doesn't that stress the anemone, when you remove them from the tank with the clownfish wouldn't they get stressed? By-the -way, I have T8 bulbs. They are Ocean Sun, 10000k High Intensity Lamps. Are they enough for my anemone?
