PH higher in hot water tank

I just realized that my hot water has a PH of 8, compared to 7.4 in cold water

It raises the ph a bit every time I do a water change with some hot water

Should I only use my cold water to do water changes from now on? ( I would let it warm up to room temperature before putting it in the tank)
