Please help, I can not keep my phosphates low enough to prevent green hair algae. I do water changers weekly, only use RO water and good salt, but the algaeImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1387323074.481459.jpg still grows
 
Add a pros an reactor to your tank and use some gfo media. Should clear it up shortly after you start it up. I had phosphates in my tank then added one of these babies and cleared it right up.
 
If you dont want to spend the $$ for a reactor, a cheapo hob filter with a media bag of phosphate removal media will work just fine.
