how to post pictures for idiots? i cant figure it out!

you can upload an image to the site when you post or reply to a thread in the area I have circled in the image I have posted. Select BROWSE to
Browse your computer and find the picture you want to upload.

You can also host an image and put the path of the image inside of
image tags in your replies.

how do i make a gallery?

Click "View My Gallery" under your avatar and on the top-right of the new page you'll see a link called "Upload Photos".
