pictus catfish poisoning tank mates?!? help

Sounds suspicious, I have occasionally had a "bad" fish which had to be removed. Remove him, take him back to the store, re-home if possible, but give warning about him.

Ya that's what i read too and was wondering if its behaviour is due to the fact its alone. Maybe they become stressed if they are not in a group. But im not going to take the chances in getting even more after just a few weeks i may only be left with pictus cats!! Haha i think from now on im sticking to non poisonous fish.

i have 2 - 6 inch pics in my 55 gall breeder that has 2 pair in it. they also have stopped eating and not as active . i wonder if i have the same prob. pm me if u find out the awncer . in the mean time im getting them out of there now that i know this . ty so much
