Pink algae?

Hey guys. Is it normal to have pink colored algae during the cycling process?

A little purple tint when you really look at it

Cyanobacteria. It feeds off of nutrients in the water column and low flow.
Since you are cycling just keep your lights off. It'll go away and when the cycle is done your water changes will remove the nutrients.

So should I just leave it be till the tank is cycled?

By turning the lights off there is a likelihood that it will fade away to nothing.
