So I added new java ferns to my 5 gallon and after a few days I saw planaria worms crawling over the glass. I used my algae scrubber to remove a lot of them but they keep coming back. I did some research online and ordered panacur c. I know that the dosage for a 5 gallon would be 0.05 grams and I would probably need 2-3 treatments to kill them all. My question is, should I be doing water changes inbetween treatments? 25% water change? 50%?

Edit: sorry didn't catch the part initially where you already ordered it, just that you were looking at it.

The second link might be more helpful.

Here is pretty much what you will need to know. About $20 for a bottle. Liquid Goat Dewormer is in a 100ml suspension, liquid easily mixes with water and tablets do not easily mix/ dissolve. And come in odd mg tablets /measurements, making dosing difficult to figure out. And since it doesn't dissolve easily you are not really sure how much you are really dosing.

It didn't really give the detail of changing water. I would change the water for sure after the second dose / before a 3rd dose.

Taking note if you have any inverts which could be harmed, shrimp / snails, as I do not know how safe the Panacur C dose is or not for inverts from Phoenix Killers article.
