So I purchased these plants from our Lfs which the staff is clueless when it comes to plants. They say so themselves. Now their plants aren't even named, they just sort by stem, grasses, swords or other. So I'm hoping someone can help me here. Also recommended care would be great. Thanks

Ok I really need to know what these are. One in particular. I believe it's about the flower. This doesn't look like the shoots it normally sends up.

So then I'm thinking there's different variations of amazon swords. Because I was led to believe that the plant to the far right is a sword. Is that correct?

Updated pic on the shoot. It's a couple of inches from the surface now though my water is low and is due for a water change. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

From what I've seen online it does seem to be a variety of amazon sword. Hard to tell. I have thought the leaves would this though. It is a safe haven for this little guy for now. The shoot is now out of the water. I'm sure people have seen this before. What is to expect now?

The first pic in this post I quoted what about a marble sword.

Your sword is reproducing sending a daughter stem. I've had the stem be as long as 2-3 feet in length. Small buds, like the tip, will appear and smaller swords will begin to grow. Hope you have enough room in the tank. Difficult for me to tell the types swords you as markings and leaf definition is hard to tell.

I believe your right about the far right plant being a sword, it looks just like mine.

The shoot was hanging a foot out if the tank and I didn't like the hood being open all the time. I ended up rescaping the tank. Still need more plants as money will allow. Open to suggestions though selection here in Canada isn't the greatest. Here an updated pics on the tank and the shoot.

Far right looks like amazon sword to me, the left looks like argentine sword. I used to have a whole tank of the argentine swords and looked exactly like that

Both are known to me. The unknown is the plant where the leaves reach the surface and currently has the shoot on it.

I've split this plant in the past and put half in my fluval chi 5gal. Both were very small and the one in the 5gal remained small. The other was planted in a 36gal Bowfront with a regular bulb then I changed the tank to this 30gal light glo with a dual t8 bulbs. Basically doubled the light. The plant changed and had this shoot come from it. I will include a pic of the other half. Also have a updated pic of the shoot. I understand that this is baby plants but what are balls? Are these flower buds?
