I have this plant I want to put the roots from in my tank but want to be sure it is safe first. So here it is

"Land plants" are not recommended for aquarium use. Underwater they can decay and rot as they are not accustomed to the high waterlogged conditions. Some need the soil to dry between waterings. The plants needs must be considered. Even emergent aquatics have different growth underwater than above.

From the looks of the plant I would say not to use it.

I do not plan on submerging it completely just the roots.
