Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? I got it at petco....its got a marbled coloration on spme of the more mature leaves...

Well your question was vague. Its helpful when the questions are more specific so the answers can be more specific. I have no knowledge of what you already know. Just trying to help. Try anubias barteri
 
It is anubias.. Instead of criticizing someone's answer/help, restructure your own sentence/question to get what you need.

If it is Anubias, make sure the rhizome is above the substrate or it will rot.

This is an important point. At least some of the roots should have water flowing over them as well.
