I won't be able to buy this until good ole tax refunds are issused, but I'm wanting to get better lighting. I found this on amazon and thought it was a decent price. Option 1 is a 6500k for day lighting and it has the blue moon lighting as well for $83 including shipping, manufacturer is beamswork. Option 2 is made by deep blue solar max and is 10000k for day and also has the moon lighting, price is $93 including shipping. Opinions on what to go with?

I believe with the 1000 lights you'll need co2. With the 6500 you can get away with liquid carbon only

On that small of a tank I would lean towards one bulb and see how the plants do. I have two 6500k on my 55 and still battle the algae a bit.
