I need to break the line of sight in my peacock cichlid tank, provide places to hide. What's a good floating plant? Also, is there anything I need to do before putting it in my tank? Thanks!

Its always a good idea to normally soak them in peroxide. But in your case id say its not worth it. If there are any snails on the plants or even eggs the peacocks will take care of them. Water sprite, Wisteria and hornwort may do the best because they grow fast. Just remember malawi cichlids and plants dont get along to well

thanks for your input! I'm not too concerned with how the plants look, as long as it doesn't hurt the fish =)
