Hi gang!
Ok, I've set up my 10 gallon tank with the following equipment:-
EHEIM pickup internal filter
HOT 2005 Aquarium Heater with thermostat
Aqua Zonic Super Tropical Pink 18" 15w
I have black clay gravel for my substrate.
My decor is:-
1 x 12" planted piece of bog wood - (Microsorum pteropus)
1 x 12" un-planted piece of bog wood
2 x rocks with white veins (?) - unsure what they are ..?
My plants are:-
1 x 12" planted piece of bog wood - (Microsorum pteropus) as above
2 x Echinodorus - background
2 x Eleocharis - foreground
1 x Lindernia - Foreground - hopefully grow over rocks?
My perimeters on my first check - day 2 are:-
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 0
PH = 7
Chlorine = 0
Carbonate = 3
Gerneral Hardness = 8
Temp = 25
I think these are all ok? - I will keep checking daily
My questions are:- I'm a little worried that the plants I've chosen are quick growing plants and will they take over if left alone. Can I cut these plants back as required? - I will be honest I went for these plants because I liked the look of them! proper mistake I'm guessing!? - I plan on having Harlequin Rasporas x maybe 10? but not until my perimeters are inline and stable.
Is there any obvious mistakes that I have made?
