Plant suggestions please, dirted substrate and soft acid water

here's plenty of information available about plants that will better tolerate 82 F and soft acid water. Could someone specifically recommend plants that will be best able to take advantage of the substrate? It is 3" deep. the bottom layer is a mix of
4 parts topsoil(including sand and peat), 1 part peat, 1 part Turface and one part gravel. above that is a layer of black blasting sand mixed with medium gravel, and above that is silica sand.
the attached picture shows the substrate in an edge view. You can see that there are about 4" of water above th substrate, and some plants floating in there.
