Hey all,

I am setting up a shrimp tank so I bought some Java Moss it is just loose not on any metal or anything. How shouldt I "plant" it? I have never had moss. Any special tips so that it will do really well?

Thanks guys!

I just ordered some java moss recently and it should be in any day, I saw this thread and was wondering. I have some rubber bands, can those be used?

Rubber bands probably would work, it just wouldn't look as nice because a rubber band is much more conspicuous than a piece of fishing line.

I used green thread, and it works great, ive used fishing line too.
Heres a puc of some xmas moss on some dw.

I used beading thread on mine, not as thick as fishing line but not as frail as regular sewing thread. I had a problem with the sewing thread loosening up when moving things around so went to that.
