It's hard to tell from just looking at the photo. How far is it from the lights to the gravel's surface?

Yes, not trying to dissuade you from using it. Just trying to find more info. IMO the blue has a "cold" appearance.
Also, that quote in post #6 is from 2002...weird.

Color looks 10,000+ K. Plants generally tend to grow best in 6500k, not to say it won't work tho. It's worth trying.
I just bought package of low light plants. Hope I can keep them alive.
