I understand that having the back wall and sides of am aquarium help to minimize stress and also certain color backgrounds will bring out brighter colors in certain fish, so my question is what color should I change my background to. I would mainly like to minimize stress, but I definitely wouldn't mind some brighter colors haha

I paint the back and sides of all of my tanks black. It makes their colors stand out and they tend to relaxed even in bare bottom, minimally decorated breeding setups.

Thanks, I couldn't decide between black, navy blue, or a real dark grey. I think I'll go with the black
