Ok, so I have one more question. If you breed hi fin sword tails, is it difficult to develop the hi fin feature in the fry?

i have something to add. If you plan on cross breeding any fish you best bet is to have all of one sex per type of fish. for example if you want to breed platys and sword tails you should have all male swordtails and all female platys or vice versa because swordtails will tend to want to breed with other swordtails and platies will want to breed with other platies before they cross breed. the usually only do it if they have too.
