Playing dead

My fish is playing dead but when i open the lid it stop playing . what should i do?
 
This is the wrong forum. Is this fish SW or FW so I can move it to the right place.
 
I moved this to Freshwater & Brackish - General Discussion. If this is a saltwater fish, please let me know and I'll move it over to the sw forum.
