I haven't been on here in awhile, been so busy with my classes!
Anyways, I was thinking about getting a pleco to go in with my FH to have a bottom dweller. I know, it's such a common combination, big cichlid/pleco, but I would like to.
He is still young, so I think I can condition him to another fish successfully. He is not being fed live or being triggered at all to be aggressive. I understand that it may not work out, but it's worth a try.
What would be some good options? He is going to be transferred into a 55g in the next month or two and then into a 72/75g when he outgrows the 55g. I would like something that has some good size to it (obviously not too big).
I have heard of getting a royal pleco. I am going to look into that, but curious for more ideas. I don't know many plecos outside of commons, BNs, and some random few. Price isn't too big of a deal, I can normally find what I'm looking for. Just need some name dropping to narrow down my search.
Thanks!
