Will tiger barbs terrorize a pleco? If not what is a small pleco suitable for a 29 gallon tank.

Tiger barbs are pretty nasty. Bristlenose pleco would work well for your tank size, but I have no experience with that pleco species alongside the barbs.

I don't have expereince with tiger barbs and plecos alongside each other, but I would think that if you kept some tiger barbs in with a bristenose they ought to be fine. The pleco won't be out a ton, so I don't foresee the tiger barbs messing with it too much. However, I'm not sure I'd want to keep tiger barbs in a 29. They are very mobile fish, high-strung almost. Add that to their "picky" attitude, and you may just end up with a mess.

I'd say yes. All of the ones I breed really love zuchini and cucumbers, too.

Yes, I do breed them. Although I won't have any ready for a while, and by the time I have any ready to ship, it'll be freezing up here in SoDak
