Poisonous plants in bog?

Would i be able to use poisonous plants in a bog? The fish will have now way of getting to it and i would really like to use elephants ear for my bog.

If your referring to taro it is quite common in koi water gardens. More issue would be the fact it is a tropical plant and if you live where it frosts you will need to bring indoors during the cold season. If you live in a tropical climate make sure it is potted as they are quite invasive and no need to subtract anymore from native plants
