Polyp ID

So I got a frag of zoanthids yesterday, and have just now noticed the polyps with bubble tipped tentacles. Anybody know what it is? It seems happy.

looks like it could be a majano anemone, not good.

Ah okay, it should be easy to kill off since its just on that tiny rock. Does crushing those make them spread like aiptasia or should I feed it some kalk?

That's a shame though. They looks really cool.

From what i heard you have to scrape them off but out of the tank. If you do this the polyps will be fine for at least 10 minutes out of water

How should I go about scraping it off so close to the zoanthids? Could I just kind of tear into it with a screw driver or something? hehe.

Maybe I can just peel it off with tweezers.

Probably just chip a little bit of rock off that it is on with something like that. Just don't leave any on the rock because even the tinyiest piece on the rock and it will grow back

Definitely majanos, I wouldn't try plucking, scraping, or any of that.

Use kalk, if you lose a few polyps, big deal. They'll definitely grow back

Yea I'm gonna try kalk. Just failed at plucking it with tweezers, it completely retracts.
