I just purchased a pom pom Xenia polop yesterday, and it looks like it did not make it through the night, I thought that they continuously opened and closed there mouths. Is this not true? please help!
If the xenia is dying it will look like it is melting. Some xenia pulse, some don't, those that do...typically need lots of light to pulse and will pulse faster in lower water flows. Xenia also like water that is a little dirty and is very sensitive to ph, what is your ph, typically they like 8.2-8.4, but aftert only one day, it could just be settling in
Thank you Kevin. At the lfs it was pulsing a lot. I will give it time. The ph I am not sure, I will test it, but that will have to wait till I get home from work. Gotta run.
