pond newbie

Hi, I have kept saltwater fish for about 2 years now and I am also looking to set up a turtle pond in my garden. I really have very slim knowledge on ponds so was wondering if anyone would be able to offer advice about the types of filtration or general tips for me to start with?

Do you have any idea of what you have in mind for this pond? Preform, natural bottom, or a liner? Size? Above or inground? We can offer some pond advice but the specifics in respect to keeping turtles in a pond is something I am not experienced with. Will try to help the best we can!

It will be a small pond mayeb 6 foot by 4 foot or something and I would like a water fall. I'm unsure as to what bottom to use tbh I'm guessing no real benefits to any of them? And it will be in ground. As I said any help on the just the pond is much appreciated
