Hey guys so my pond snails that I have in my 25g high planted tank are turning white and a lot are dying? I have pressurized co2 and I have a good feeling it is because the co2 causes me to have a ph of around 6.4. Is this too acidic for pond snails? Could it also be a calcium deficiency? How can I counteract this so I can keep inverts in my tank at a healthy level? I have MTS on the way and I want them to thrive.

You should probably do a large test for KH and GH.

I'm suspecting the calcium deficiency. By turning white, do you mean the shell is turning white first? If so, yes, it most certainly is dissolving.

Definitely dying from deficient calcium. Try bringing your PH, GH and KH up more.

Also add pieces of cuttlebone, from the cuttlefish, from the bird isle in your pet store.
