Anyone know what this hitch hiker is? I think it may be some type of a soft coral. I couldn't get a good picture of the front...it is at the top of the rock at the center. Thanks

Just noticed this on the same rock...a mushroom of some sort?

Maybe it's more purplish

The red is a zoanthid and the purple is a mushroom

Lucky you! I didn't get cool hitch hikers like that - im jealous.

My LFS is awesome. They are in Columbus, Oh. They always try to get me since cool hitchhikers with my live rock. We just didn't know about the mushroom or xenia...They were small and closed up at the time. It will be exciting watching them grow.
