i know that there is a show off forum for this but i am always looking for ideas for plant arrangemnts and can only ever find the tacky pics of the peoples tanks with like a big shark in the middle and the no fishing sign (lol no offense if u have that stuff) i hope this will catch on so new people to the planted tanks can look at this thread then get a better idea of what they want for plants by asking after they see it. if u post your tank put all the statistics of it aswell such as what size of tank. what kind of light and how much. what ferts if any. and anything else u can think of. i will start

i have seen soo many tanks that i looked at for inspiration and i want other people to not have to look so hard for it as i did lol.

I put pics of my tank in another post for exactly the same reason...looking for aquascaping advice....but here's my 55gal again:

lighting: 2x96watt PCs, 6700K, DIY installation of reflector and end caps
filtration: AquaClear 70
substrate: 80 lbs Eco-complete
CO2: 2 Red Sea turbo yeast reactors + 5mL Excel daily
Ferts: dry from Greg Watson, CSM+B, KNO3, K2SO4, NaHPO4 (got that from work, not Greg)..still figuring out dosing
Fish: 6 turquoise rainbows, 3 SAE's, 3 corys, 3 otos, 2 BN plecos, 1 XL cherry barb (AKA the blimp), 1 diamond tetra, 2 penguin tetras

wow everyones tanks are sooo awesome!! i have never seen your tank current516 looks sweet. come on epople keep postin so this thread takes off!! if it gets enough responses the advisors should make it a sticky so you can get some quick ideas of what u want to do for your tank. ok so here is my 55 gal that i have just started planting with my clippings from my other 2 tanks.

nice tank wizzard i was wondering when u were going to post. well i guess i will post another one of my tanks lol i have a few so i can just keep posting them as u guys post yours. here is my 10 gallon that i just throw clippings into when i trim. as u can tell it is a little overgrown lol.

Only two weeks or so. Just set her up. I have ran my 36 gallon for months at a time on it though. I use two 6500/10,000 bulbs.

I will work on the DIY co2 next weekend. My wife says we have no plans.

Here's my 26G Bowfront tank planted.

No CO2 injection, 65W CF 50/50 bulb, dosing with CSM+B, Potassium, and Flourish Excel only. Fish provide the rest of the nutrients.

Here's my 2.5 year old 10G tank. The pic was taken about 2 hours right after I butchered the tank up on Sunday and did a lot of trimming, maintenance, and replanting. No fish or algae crew in it at the moment, only snails (tiny unknown rams and MTS) as I'm going to be taking it down soon once I get my 20G up and running strong.

Stats:
10G AGA, 40W of 6500K PC Lighting, Pressurized CO2 w/ pH Controller, Penguin 125 Filter (Bio-Wheel Removed using only Filter fiber).
pH: ~7.0
KH: ~10*
Temp: ~78*
Nitrate: ~5 ppm
After a long stretch of mal-maintenance, I just recently started a liquid fert mix of Plantex CSM+B, KNO3, MgSO4 and K2SO4 (Conlin's PMDD) once a week and a strictly KNO3 dosing midweek. Health of the plants has rapidly been improving.
