It's a really fine gravel I've not used before, but works well. Just have to be careful when cleaning not to suck it up with all the fish waste!

Thank you. I have rainbow slate rock, then the large wood looking piece is fake, the little tree stump I inherited which houses a pleco and a loach, then I have another pleco who lives in the skull. I couldn't find any nice real wood pieces in my area from my LFS and being new to the hobby I was nervous about just getting drift wood from Lake Erie.
