Pretty tanks! I wonder why the water is cloudy in the 37? Someone else on here will probably have suggestions about that. I'd to like have a Marineland penguin unit. It will be my first upgrade buy I think.

Thx!! And I think all I wasn't letting it settle bc now it's good as new!!

5 sounds ok for a 55 gal, doesnt it? Why faint? 20 gal for the first one and 10 extra gal for each additional one. Only missing 5 gal, and filtration can make up for it! Not like other tanks I've seen around.

That's for fancies. We are talking about fish with the potential to reach 18 inches or more.

Wow had no idea comets got that big. How do people keep them in aquariums? Im a fancy goldfish man myself, got 4 in a 150 gal pond.

They do but they shouldn't :/ They usually get stunted and die after a few years. People think they only get a few inches long and only live a few years but they're wrong. They can live 20+ years if kept in massive tanks or in ponds where they should be. It's sad because if someone was keeping an Oscar in a 20g tank everyone would be screaming at them to get it out if there but if it was a comet goldfish everyone would think its fine even though the goldfish would get bigger than the oscar!

This is my planted 38g setup the some rainbows and danios and Cories.

Nice tank! Love the simplicity. I'm too cheap to buy so many plants

5?! *faints*

Tanks looks good!

I know.... It's so full of fish right now. I seeded the filter with some of king neptune's filter media. I tested the water this afternoon and ammo and trites were 0. :)

Should have kept reading!! I thought the rule applies to all goldfish. I knew the koi needed ponds...

I'm sort of expecting them to get eaten by the crawfish or bass/ bluegills anyway. But I seriously thought 5 would be fine even if they didn't get eaten. :(
