my betta blender

Not a real tank I know, currently working on a 10g custom(as seen in the background), my first real tank in almost 10 years. But just joined to get some advice and figured I should share, even tho I figure i will be quickly ostracized and banned for fish cruelty, even though the power cord has been removed long ago

Well

This is my 55 gallon tank (above pictures).
I have a 94 gallon Bow Tank that I have set up and will throw the Grouper and Urchin into with a new Dragon Eal that I have ordered. It will be my Predator tank.
This 55 gallon, with the expensive T-5 light system I set up will then become my coral tank ;)

Yes, I believe they do eat them. This Star hasn't touched a thing the entire time I have had it in over 5 months.
I probably should throw him into the predator tank unless the eal will eat him. The star was a rescue deal I did for a pet store here in Clear Lake.
I will have all killer-feesh removed to other tanks by the time I get the corals set up ;)

150-gallon planted wild angels and cats

This is my 150-gallon planted tank housing 5 wild caught P. leopoldi angelfish (uncommon species) residing with a Planiloricaria cryptodon (spoon-faced whiptail catfish), a small school of C. trilineatus, a pair of small Ancistrus sp., a small school of cardinal tetras and some Endler's livebearers.

I recently added plants and re-arranged my 55...

21227-albums414-picture4074.jpg

Added the large Amazon sword in the back, which came with 2 runners, the 2 Cryptocoryne Wendtii Florida Sunsets (thank you shawnryan1977!), the 6 or 7 stems of Telenthera / Red temple, and the 2 bunches of furry plants on the right. Not sure what those are, but the ones in front (all green) suck. They turn black under the gravel and are falling apart. The bunch in back (green/red) are growing great and forming a good root structure quickly. The other swords are months old, some struggling, added root tabs to all of them. And the Vals on the left, I cut all the daisy-chained roots apart and stuffed them in the corner by the intake. Started with 2, now about 50, with the newer offshoots in the 10g....below

And the latest aquisition...is this huge hutch that is to be used for storing all the kids' school stuff, but the top is just about the right size to put a 125g on top. Just add a slab of granite and it's good to go! The wife doesn't see that happening unfortunately. But I will make her understand that it is necessary to life.

Very attractive setup, Shawnryan1977. What kind of fauna do you keep in it?
Thanks TanKGirl for the Compliment

I have 8 Rosy Tetras, 3 Vietnamese white clouds, 3 Otto’s, 2 Flower Shrimp and 2 Bristlenose plecos in it. Plus it is planted with Java ferns, Java Moss, Cryptocoryne Wendtii “Red” and different types of Anubias.

Hi guys, I haven't posted in a while, my tank has changed a bit.

Fauna:
-12 Serpae Tetras
-4 Odessa Barbs
-6 Honey Gourami
-4 Clown Loaches
-3 Yo-Yo Loaches
-2 Leopard Ctenopoma
-1 Plecostomous Plecostomus
-1 Black Ghost Knife Fish
-8 Rainbowfish (3 Salmon-Reds, 1 Lake Tebera, 2 Deserts, 2 so called "Hybrids", although I think they are actually pure breeds, just need to see when they get older)
-1 Red-Tail Black Shark'

Flora:
- Several Dracaena Sandriana (although I know it is not truly aquatic, I placed them there for a few reasons: they have been surviving for months now and it is the only plant that my Silver Dollar do not devour, that and my remaining crpyt wendtii, surprsingly.)
- A few crypt wendtii
