power heads

iam pretty new to fish and we just got a 90 gallon tank with cichlids and have been running perfectly for about 2 month. i have read.about power heads online and was wondering if i needed one we have 2 aquaclear 110 in.are.tank and 24 cichlids (all African) both filters are on either side of are tank

The filter returns in the tank should be plenty to circulate the water. I have a very over stock Rainbow tank with 2 AC 110's and its plenty of circulation.

I have a overstocked African Cichlid tank with AC110's and I run a koralia 1025 to help keep debris from settling on my black sand.

Ok so you guys convinced me to get a power head now..... Where do I put.it I have it in rigjt now.and.my fish seem to hate.it all.on the other side of the tank. the power head I got was only rated for a 55gal tank and I have a 90gal but I didn't want anything to powerful
