powerhead question

I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank. Marine land 400 emperor hob filter. 18" airstone. My question...any benefits of having a powerhead or do the items I have give enough water movement.

I think it depends on what kind of fish you have in there. Some fish may not appreciate the current a powerhead can create. Otherwise, I think the increased circulation is only a benefit. The emperor 400 is sufficient filtration but I think your fish could benefit from another filter.
