have any of you ever used the parasite/nematoid medicine called "prazi-pro" by aquarium solutions?

it's supposed to be safe to use and good for a preventive maintenence measure.

any input on this?

Personally, I have never used prazi-pro. Preventive measures are accomplished through regular water changes, tank cleaning and filtration maintenance without the use of medications.

well i was not talking about using it all the time, only in situations where i add new fish

of course partial water changes are necessary, we should all know that 8)

i've seen some LF stores in the area seem to have a lot of fish (especially cichlids) that are "wasting away" (extreme sunken bellies). the problem seems to have possibly migrated to my work :(

we are trying to keep certain tanks under observance, and are trying to figure out if it's internal parasites or a dietary problem. if it's internal parasites, then we're in big trouble because that means the problem may have possibly spread to all of our fish (hopefully not)

that's why i'm asking if anyone's used this medication before.
