pregnant fish and treatment

good lord, i should have known better.

so i walked into walmart to buy a thermometer for the tank and i walked past the fish. 2 lovely little mickey mouse platies, pregnant, squared off and housed with lots of dalmatian mollies and other platies.

Now as i had the poor pregnant dears bagged, i noticed that one of the dalmatian mollies was showing signs of ick. just a few spots. Now being the sucker that i am, i couldn't leave the girls and their babies to the hands of walmart staff, and i bought them home to the 10 gallon qt tank

SO my question is, will it be ok to treat them for ick (if needed) while pregnant? will they lose the babies? And are fry delicate enough to die from ick treatment?

And please, i know i shouldn't but i'm a mom.. i couldn't help it

i would'nt use meds, of course i dont regardless. i would just keep the temp up to about 86 for a couple weeks and see how that works out.

thanks mfd. i was really hoping to not, i just bumped the temp 2 degrees, and will do another two before bed tonight.. temp is at 74, but i don't want to wait till the ick comes out... poor babies!!
