Can't tell look for the chest to become very enlarged. If you feed her a lot of frozen blood works, brine shrimp and livebearer fry for two weeks she will be ready trust me. They are egg laying bubble nesters, are you ready to spwan them? If so what type of a set up are you going to use?

Agree with henningc. They make a bubble nest like a Betta and deposit eggs in there after the male has fertilized them.
