OK I thought it might be like the ammonia test and it says to take the reading immediately.Guess the nitrites are still a bit high. Thanks for the help.

No... prime doesn't 'mess with tests', nor does it get rid of nitrites... it just detoxifies them for somewhere between 24 and 48 hours.

It says on their website that the ammonia test must be taken immediately if using the certain test (starts with an s cant remember) That i have is this true?
